All staff positions are paid positions and include lodging and meals. – Position descriptions found on www.westminsterwoodscamp.com under summer staff

Requirements for all staff members

  1. You must demonstrate a reformed Christian faith in attitude and action.
  2. While membership in a Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) congregation is not a requirement, Christian commitment and the ability and willingness to be supportive of the mission and ministry of Jesus Christ through the Presbyterian (U.S.A.) and the Presbytery of Southern Kansas is required.
  3. You must be willing to work in Christian community making every effort to build relationships with every member on staff.
  4. You must be free of convictions for child molestation or abuse, and chemical dependency
  5. You must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be one-year post high school.
  6. Must be willing to sign the Standard of Conduct Statement (found on website)
  7. Must have current physical (within last 9 months)
  8. We will provide first aid/cpr training
  9. Must bring proof of a negative TB test
  10. Must be willing to help clean camp at the end of each camp session and help do a thorough cleaning at the end of the season.
  11. Must be willing and able to work the entire period of time with no additional days off unless arrangements are made prior to employment.

 
Dates of Employment
Staff training at Westminster Woods Camp
(First Day for Coordinators May 14th – all other staff May 16th
 
Westminster Woods Camps and Clean Up;
Starts at the end of staff training and continues until June 29.
 
Counselors will have a minimum of 24 hours with no campers each week.  During time off staff is required to be at the camp for a time of rest, rejuvenation, and fellowship.
