The Leadership and Service Development Programs are for high school students who have completed at least their freshman year and run in conjunction with the third/fourth-grade and fifth/sixth-grade summer camps. In the Leadership program, participants will spend the week in a cabin, supporting the counselor where needed and going through their own curriculum under the LDP coordinator. In the Service program, participants will serve a little bit more behind the scenes (supporting rec staff, maintenance, and others), doing various tasks to help the camp run smoothly. It is SO much fun--but be prepared to work hard and serve the campers wholeheartedly!

Program Goals:

  • Spiritual Growth and Character Development

  • Work Ethic and Relationship Skills

  • Teamwork and Communication Skills

  • Sharing Your Faith and Developing a “Servant’s Heart for Service”

The SDP & LDP participants arrive a day earlier than the campers to spend time with the staff and help prepare for arrival.
